The Holy Grail, seems to have some special meaning for most people who have either heard about it, seen Indiana Jones searching for it or Dan Brown’s characters solving all the mysteries that becloud it.  Last time I checked, it was the Cup that Jesus drank from at the Passover Dinner, also known as the Last Supper.  It is supposed to mean “the ultimate ‘find’” for anyone who searches for things.

Is this just the unreachable star for the  Man of La Mancha? Where is Valhalla? The Fountain of Youth? Are there really 72 virgins waiting for some guy in Paradise if he can kill infidels?  Is it the Tabernacle (which only a few special folks were allowed to see)?  

Is it a place? A heaven? A haven? Maybe it’s like “The Best Little Whore House in Texas” (a funny movie, breaking a few moral codes, which just gives us relief from the ugly reality of Life?)  Is it a feeling? An “Impossible Dream?” A Utopia?  Is it all things from the historical mythologies?  Was it the Tower of Babel (a lost enterprise due to misunderstandings)?

And what happens when we find this magical mysterious, enlightening “IT”?  Does It turn out to be just Information Technology? Or is “It” Blackbeard’s map?  Or Ritchy Rich’s father’s bank vault. Do we have to come from Krypton to become invulnerable and obtain x-ray vision (and is Elon Musk planning a trip there eventually? Can we get virtual reality goggles to understand Reality?  What is Reality? Does IT include virtual reality or is IT the opposite? Does anybody know? Does anybody care?  Does anything matter?  

Is there a stable Truth? What happens when IT’s denied; does it go poof! and vanish? change? ever?  Is there an eternal, infinite, totally powerful God that is unchanging – though no two humans or doctrines seem to be able to agree on exactly what IT is?   Can IT ever be something that is always true for everyone, not just sometimes, or for a special few? 

And oh, by the way, what and where is Love, Truth, Peace, Joy, and Happiness to be found, or is all that just about deals to be made?  Is there a website to find those Chicken Soup things? Got a map?  Got an alternate reality?  Got the Real reality?  Is there only one reality?  Is anything “real?” Do I have to “find Alice” and ask her while she’s still down in her rabbit hole (where I seem to spend a lot of time these days also)? 

 IF you’ve asked yourself ANY of these questions, put a check there in the box; you’re still searching for your IT.  IF you find your IT, please let me know.  Is your IT going to be exactly the same as my IT?  CAN they be?  How do I know?  E=mC² has been around for 114 years. Seems stable.  Will it “last?” Will it always “work.?”  Is (enough) Money the answer to all problems?  Any problems?
Would it make a difference in this world if the answer(s) was known or revealed?
