All Carbon is created in Stars. All living things on earth are made of Carbon. We come from stars.

You can see from the vast variety of life that there unlimited ways to combine Carbon to create anything a person could imagine. However the most compact (some would call it efficient) matrix that Carbon can form is called a diamond.

Diamonds are formed only when heat and pressure are high enough to force each C⁶ atom to bind all 6 available electrons to another Carbon atom. This matrix changes a soft, lubricating, thermally insulating, electrically conductive, opaque substance (Graphite) into the hardest material known, the ultimate abrasive, the best electrical insulator, the best thermal conductor, completely clear dimond!

If we view a diamond closely we’ll see facets… as a metaphor for the wisdom that helps us get closer to God, you would be hard-pressed 😁 to find a better one. The design of a cut diamond seeks to choose the best shape for reflecting light and maintaining as much of the pure diamond structure as possible.

Each facet can be thought of as another view into the diamond, a way of seeing the whole from another perspective to gain insight. The goal of this discussion and blog is to gain insight into the nature of God.
