For Dummies Helps Peel the Onion

We’ve shifted books. After a little more than a year using the 3rd edition of A Course In Miracles and reading through the Text, my dad and I still struggled to determine the target of some articles. (Does this “it” mean God or which other phrases from the past page?)

We wanted additional depth. In our morning reading of the Text, we have found some additional layers of clarity by using A Course In Miracles For Dummies by Thomas Wakechild.

Every day we work on this, and as I gain clarity from reading, it’s because it’s redundant to a point of clarity. It’s like looking through onion paper, where Moiré patterns are playing out.

Peeling an onion can make you cry, Dean told me yesterday morning. I told him “I’ve had that happen, it stings”. He told me we can fix it. there are layers to his persistence, and he needs encouragement, as we all do. Today I will Practice the Presence with Patience and Persistence.

It’s a new day with a new direction and you can choose any direction, it’s clear that inspiration only comes when I’m receptive and remove my blocks to listening.
